Loot Drops...Where Are They

Im now at lvl 43 and managed to find about 12 exalted orbs which I used to upgrade my gear, really havent found much of anything else so far but my main problem is the virtual lack of uncut spirit gems, so far I have found 4 so even though I have 61 spare spirit I cant do anything with them.
Can you tell me why it seems that you stopped the rare mobs from dropping rare items and replaced them with magic items, whats the point of fighting them if they dont drop anything of worth. I think that this league will most likely be the most underplayed league you have made so far, I think there wont be many people playing it after 2 months due to a terrible league mechanic where every 6th map you get to enter a dungeon filled with junk. Wow 4 months to make this.I normally stay untill the end of the league but not this time as this is just the standard version with a dungeon. Loot drops pretty much suck all over the board past act 1. No significant amount of crafting currency, hardly any useful items (much less any that fit my class) and just about enough support gems to fill the slots I have but nothing to experiment with.
