Return the mobs to their locations!

Since this "innovation" was introduced in 0.2, I still can't understand why they decided to make monsters unrelated to their biomes and locations.
You go to a crypt - there are monkeys. You go to a desert - there are drowned people. You go to frozen mountains - there are plants. You go to a jungle - there are mechanisms and robots. You go to a high-tech machinarium - there are snakes. It looks like one of the many useless Diablo 2 LoD mods from the distant 2000s, where monsters spawned randomly. Let's not talk about aesthetics. Let's talk about the practicality of this game design. The game is inconvenient, and it's unclear who to expect at a location when you activate the map. You have enough creatures to put everyone back in their place. You have enough locations. What's the problem? What's the point of the Atlas dots and the various biomes on it then? What's the point of traveling through it anyway? Then make a black field and dots on it. Or remove it altogether. There's nothing to do on it anymore except find strongholds anyway. I wrote about this in the last league, but the developer apparently doesn't read the Russian-language section of the forum. Or maybe he does and doesn't care. P.S. In POE1, this is a separate modifier on the waystone. Those who need it keep it, those who don't can reroll it with a sphere. Коротко о патче 0.4 "Пластилиновый друид" Дроп серверов повысили. I agree lol. I remember HATING the archers that create the purple AOE on the ground because it was on a bridge (I cannot remember the map name.. it had witch on a broom I think).
I was avoiding that map thinking that would be the only area I'd see them.. Then nope, they were somewhere else too lol. |
