Exactly which league is your character in?
It sounds like they're in an SSF (Solo; Self Found) one. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

Please be aware that if your character is in SSF, then you won't be able to trade. To clarify, you can not trade or party in a Solo Self Found League. A Solo Self Found character cannot party or trade as this would mean that the are not Solo or Self Found.
