spellslinger is not working

Why does Spellslinger doesn't work?
I had this issue before, but I thought my wand level was low. Now I am getting the same issue, although I haven't changed anything. Any thoughts?

Not sure why image is not loading, w/e. It's says that it is missing socketed skill althoguht I have ingested the orb of storms and it worked before

Exactly the same thing happened to me right now. Once I equipped another weapon with spellslinger and put gem in, it works. The moment you remove and add gem, or remove and add gem it doesnt work again. So it only works for the 1st time you equip a weapon (tried with multiple ones) and behaved the same way every single time.

Remove and add weapon or gem sorry

Put your Slinger weapon to slot 2, and staff (sigil) to slot 1. Works for me. Gotta swap Weapon talent points tho.
