Rhoa Mount feedback

Today I’m here to give feedback on the current mount-related issues. Right now, the Spirit requirement for mounting has been massively increased, and mount movement speed has been heavily nerfed.

Fine, I understand this is for game balance — to prevent certain classes from becoming too fast. However, I want to say that sometimes you shouldn’t only listen to feedback from people who are just talking nonsense, because most of them have never played a mount-based class at all. They simply can’t stand seeing other classes move faster than theirs.

First, let’s talk about the Spirit requirement issue. Compared to Monk summons, mount-based classes have very limited ways to obtain Spirit. There are only three sources:

1.Body armour and amulets
2.Legendary jewels
3.Weapon core runes

This results in most players being unable to meet the Spirit requirement for mounting during the early and mid game. While gear-based Spirit is relatively easier to obtain, it comes at the cost of survivability. Legendary jewels are extremely hard to acquire and are almost impossible for most players. As for putting a Spirit core rune on a weapon, that means sacrificing damage, making it the worst possible option — something players only choose when they are completely out of alternatives.

On top of that, both legendary jewels and Spirit core runes can only be obtained through Trials, which is one of the most disliked activities among players.

In the latest version, the permanent movement speed bonus when surrounded and the mount acceleration bonus have also been nerfed. As a result, even compared to other classes, mount-based classes are no longer significantly faster.

Fine — if mount movement speed is nerfed and Spirit requirements are increased for the sake of balance, at least it should still be achievable in the mid to late game. What I don’t understand is why the overall mounting experience has become so bad.

Currently, whenever you teleport to a new map, your mount is automatically cancelled, regardless of whether you were mounted or not. Fine, we can accept that — just don’t stay mounted all the time. But what’s even more frustrating is what comes next.

When you are mounted, you can no longer open a portal, and there is no button to manually dismount. So what are we supposed to do? The only option is to press the dodge button and roll off the mount. Yes, you heard that right — you have to roll off just to open a portal.

Previously, pressing the portal key would automatically cancel mounting, but now it no longer works. Everything feels deliberately inconvenient, and it clearly gives the impression that players are not meant to use Rhoa Mount anymore.

No movement skill penalty is the most op thing in this game, it needs intense dodwnsides like less dmg because of high spirit cost.
