OMG POE2 PATCH 0.4 IS LITERALLY A MASTERPIECE

OH MY GOD I CANT EVEN. THIS PATCH. HOLY SHIT. THE DRUID? BROOOOOO. STRAIGHT UP NUTS.
POE2 is just… i don’t know, wild. like i’m running around and everything actually feels alive, the monsters are annoying sometimes but also kind of fun to figure out, and the loot just keeps showing up. Probably don’t need most of it but it feels nice to have it anyway, the skills feel good to use, sometimes i accidentally do something crazy and it just works and i laugh at myself, the maps are big enough to get lost but not so big that i hate myself for exploring, the music pops in at the weirdest times and it’s actually great, it makes me jump and also smile at the same time, running around shifting forms and messing with all the abilities just makes me feel like i’m doing something ridiculous and fun, i keep thinking of stupid combos to try and it’s just… the game somehow makes every little thing feel exciting without me having to think about it too hard, even the grind feels okay today, like it’s actually part of the fun rather than a chore, everything is messy and loud and chaotic but it all fits together and somehow i’m completely fine with it, i catch myself laughing at the smallest things, at weird little interactions or just how stupidly good some stuff looks, and honestly i can’t stop thinking about POE1 next season. idk about masterpiece... but w/ my limited playtime this league it seems pretty fun. like last league i tried making a vision build and i enjoyed using all the skills. this druid/shaman build is fun so far, like first handful of bosses I was like "man that was fun! :D" and i don't think I've felt that way since 0.1 when it was all fresh. now, it feels kinda like cheating to use spells and your beast form and not just one or the other but i guess we'll see how things go.
i just wish my wolfy boi didn't lurch around everywhere like a slimy lizard (vulture) in a wolf suit. i know they reuse as much assets as possible to cut dev time/costs, but THEY ALREADY HAVE BIG FAT WOLVES THAT RUN AND CLAW AT YOU and didn't use them as a base. like whyyyyyyyy Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
