Vaal Temple

Look, I know this isn't a popular take right now, but I'm genuinely having a fun time with the current league mechanic in the endgame. I like having those longer-term goals to work toward, and complex mechanics like this are exactly my thing.

That said, it's far from perfect.
1) Charge gathering is the biggest pain point for me. It's incredibly time-consuming, and the process itself doesn't reward you at all once you're past the campaign. It just feels like tedious busywork.
2) The randomness and limitations are frustrating too. You get this small handful of tiles with zero choice in what they are, which makes it impossible to build what you actually need. Something like offering twice as many tiles but only letting you place half of them would be way better. At least then you'd have more agency.
3) Readability is a mess. I'm constantly clicking around trying to find basic information, and sometimes I just can't find it at all. What room gets upgraded if I place this tile here? What does that upgrade actually do? Will this room even connect properly? These shouldn't be mysteries.

With some polish, this mechanic could be something I'd happily sink hundreds of hours into. Not every league hits perfectly, and I know you're grinding hard to keep up with the schedule. Thanks for all the work.

solid feedback.
my biggest pain point w/ it, you kinda touched on overall, especially at the end there.

it feels really undercooked. like maybe not even half-baked.

it's the biggest complaint i have so far w/ this league.
so many parts of it feel like it was prematurely released. (and that's not even including all the cut content; like the end-game overhaul i was so looking forward to). which, i know we're in EA, but that's just how rough a lot of these parts feel. like it's not even ready for that.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
