Temper Weapon + Talismans seems to not work at all

In the tooltip for the skill it clearly states it works with Talismans.

However I cannot use the skill, it turns me into human and turning into human auto-swaps the weapon.

If not going to work than it needs to state it, as I've lost hours until getting there just to find out it doesn't work.
