Temple benches bugged in multiplayer

Me and my friend entered my vaal temple. I pressed the door first, reserving the instance as mine. He loaded into the area before me after waiting for me to reserve the instance. I couldn't touch benches or levers, and neither could he. Completely bricking the instance.
