Get all checkpoints to unlock all content locations.
|
Finished campaign and I'm on maps.
Let me get this straight. You have to search the map for 67 minutes in order to find all the checkpoints. At which time it reveals the locate all the content on the map. At which time you have to spend another 67 minutes backtracking to all the content. I'm genuinely confused. No one in all of existence since the birth of the human race in the past and future thinks this is 'fun'. I don't know how GGG does it but they did it again. Last bumped on Dec 15, 2025, 12:00:57 PM

Mark did say something along the lines of grabbing all the checkpoints before doing the content was an amazing strategy for wasting time. The point is to show you the one or two things you missed, especially once you learn where the checkpoints are for each layout.

" Having you chase unknown checkpoint locations isn't showing you what you missed. Showing you where everything is, is showing you what you missed. Also not all checkpoints are predetermined. I've done the same type of map and 1 had 3 checkpoints and the same map had 1. Not to mention some people getting checkpoints off the map. |

" So your complaint is that checkpoints are not deterministic enough and that there is a bug with some of them spawning? Most maps have different preset layouts, and the checkpoints should be specific to each variant. The content isn't gated behind finding the checkpoints, only the free minimap visual of where the additional content is. This is the first iteration of a QoL improvement that wasn't there last league, largely only desired by the community because GGG had removed a bandaid solution of showing where rares were on the minimap. GGG will fix the checkpoint bug, and assuming your position that finding all the checkpoints is too inconvenient is consistent of the rest of the player base, they will amend how the content is revealed to make it "more fun." |
