POE2: Wyvern devour interaction with sacrifice spirit gem not working

As stated by the title, the devour skill for wyvern is not working properly with the sacrifice spirit gem. As stated by the sacrifice get it should make it where all revivable minions are considered corpses which should allow devour to consume them and trigger its effect but as of right now it only highlights the minions as if it's targeting them but devour can't trigger. The following skills are what I'm using to make this happen

Skeletal warrior minion
Sacrafice
Devour

Sacrifice is activated on both weapons so this is not the issue ahead of time

Its not working with Feral Invocation as well. I use the invocation button and they just spawn and don't do anything.

Might be a larger problem of them not working with shape-shifting as a whole

Which is really sad as it seems this should be able intended use of interactions since the node on Passive tree that allows you to wield a scpter while using a talisman specifies non-minion spirit gems which allows you to pretty easily use both a minion and sacrifice.
