Playing grenades on controller is painful. You can't properly target enemies

Often times when I am aiming at enemies with explosive grenade or any of the grenades my character completely looks away from the enemy. It doesnt stay locked on and makes it painful to play it has gotten me killed so many times that im about to reroll. I haven't experienced this on regular bows or any other weapon or skill types crossbow need a massive overhaul on controller. What would help immensely is how when your playing a shield you can perfectly circle your enemies. This mechsnic needs to be available for crossbow. Twice I've tried to play Merc using a controller, twice I've deleted the character.

This can't be a one off occurrence anyone else having problems?
