The only word I have is Frustration

I really tried to give PoE 2 a chance. I played on release, I played last league and I tried playing this league as well.


It's not just fun any more for me. I notice that every time I boot up the game and play a bit the only feeling I have left is frustration.

Not certain if its just the build I try out, if its the performance, or just everything all around.
I tried the druid in wolf form. Left Clearfell, the first pack of wolfs just instantly killed me. Running back in, as a melee I have to stay close to mobs, chugging my life flask because every mob deals around 20% of my life per hit.

Then finally I get pounce for some desperate needed clear, because lunar assault only hits mobs close to me, shred ignores frozen mobs most of the time, since you can't really aim an issue I noticed with tempest bell since release.

Then I notice, the wolfs can't walk past you if you are in a narrow corridor, making them most of the time pretty useless, at least in most areas in part one.


So I'm sitting there dying to dot effects because I can't even find a better life flask and wonder why I do that to myself. I never liked games like dark souls that punish you for every mistake you make, or for being greedy.

But PoE 1 never had this feeling to it. I never felt frustrated at the start of a league only 20 minutes into it.




So for now I just won't play PoE 2 anymore. I don't think its inherently a bad game, it's just a game I can't enjoy.
