We need more Options for Game customization

The enemies are dealing way too much damage and have far too little life.
If we’re going to have an option for lower density and better loot, could we also have an option for lower enemy damage and higher enemy life?

I can handle a boss easily, but the moment a rare enemy with some kind of degen aura ,ignite/poison/bleed, looks at me, I’m dead.
Half of my passive tree is invested in defense and regeneration, and it doesn’t matter at all.

I really like the idea of PoE 2 moving toward a slower-paced game, but dying in a single hit or having my entire life pool drained by degens with nothing I can do about it is neither slow nor methodical. That’s PoE 1.
If I don’t build a glass cannon, I shouldn’t kill a boss in three seconds, and I also shouldn’t die in one second.

Please give us more options to customize the game into something that’s actually fun for us. People have different types of Fun.
I don’t care if it requires a separate league, like SSF, or even if it’s voided.
Honestly, I’d pay $200 for a single-player, offline version of PoE just so I could mod the heck out of it.

I love POE 1 and 2

I convinced my wife to play with me this league, and she was having so much fun.
But then she asked me if this game would be like the other one (PoE 1), where I have to play all day just to barely make a build, and this was the conversation:

Her: Is this going to be like the other game you play all the time?
Me: Yeah, probably.
Her: Can I do the “endgame stuff” you’re always talking about if I play at most two hours per day?
Me: Probably not.
Her: …Then I’ll play with you until the free weekend ends, and that’s it. We’ll go back to playing other games that work for me and my time.

I think it would be really healthy for the game to have better options for casual players.
I would love to play with her in a version of the game that’s less grindy.

And no, we won’t play D4. D4 isn’t bad because it’s casual, it’s bad because it’s a poorly made game with no builds.
People who have jobs are also the ones with the most money to spend on the game. The more money people spend, the more GGG can hire developers and create better and better leagues.
And if this were just an optional “casual mode” at character creation, it wouldn’t affect us tryhards at all.

It’s a win-win-win scenario.
