Cast On Crit Weapon Swap With Talisman

Hello,

I am currently using a talisman and a staff with cast on crit

whenever i try to prioritize my staff to cast the frost darts i have socketed in cast on crit, it just disables this.

the goal is to build the cast on crit with wolf form and then use my staff to buff the frost darts.

im aware the talismans also allow you to cast spells too.

but all it does is disable it. and it does not allow me to build it with wolf form and cast it using a staff.

is this intentional? do you want to force meta gems to cast with talisman only or are we supposed to be allowed to use our staff to cast spells in the meta gems?

if so it might just be a priority issue with the talismans.
