Why do mob effects still happen during freeze?

molten shell, shroud walker, elemental circles, lightning mirage, shield dudes still blocking, meteors still falling

i had an abyss mob that everytime it teleports it puts degen on the ground.
i freeze it to do my melee combo, but it still teleports and now im dying to the degen.

Because Archnemisis will never die.

Warframe did the same stupid. Both games coded their effects to be entirely independent of the mob itself. Which is not only uninteresting since they could instead add features and skills that are archetype specific but broken because they don't obey any game logic like LoS or CC.
