Performance still sucks

Jonathan said something about not wanting the game to look like Quake 3 or something, but honestly I'd infinitely prefer that. I don't know wtf is going on with this games assets, but every zone with foliage or water is SEVERELY over designed. This isn't a walking simulator where you stop and appreciate the view, this is an action game. Playability should be the number one priority. I really couldn't give a rats ass about how the light reflects off the grass, I'll never see it under all the effects and garbage on screen anyway. Last league I quit to play Dark Hunting Ground of all things, an extremely minimalist ARPG, I'm worried that despite how much interest I have in the new weapon type and shapeshifting, I'll end up quitting early again. I might not have the best rig, but there is still an absurd level of unnecessary bloat in my opinion.
GGG looking more and more like AAA in many of the worst ways, and I really hate to see that.

It's so bad I refuse to wear (most) MTX items because I know they slow down other people's load times in towns.

The game needs optimization for the gpu specifically, lots of people having problems with driver version, vram/gpu usage, shaders, textures missing and long loading screens

I've never seen a game where there's a loading screen every time you open the map, do we need really need to apply ambient occlusion and bloom to a 2D looking map instead of simply baking the shadows as a texture..
