Trials Gatekeeping build enabling mechanics - Bad

Just providing my two cents and providing the devs some feedback that, after a year of POE2 and years of POE1, I (and likely many) dislike that trials, gameplay that is different than the rest of the entire game, gatekeeps build enabling mechanics and it should be changed.

Devise something else that doesn't involve traps, the horrible honour system or 10-trial 10 terrible affix system. Devise something that doesn't take 1 to 1.5 hours on the 3rd and 4th trial where if you fail not only do you not get your ascendency points, you wasted valuable time.

As content types of their own, they are fine. But to keep the most interesting build-enabling skill points behind them, and often behind gameplay that is different from campaign and mapping, is simply bad.

Find something else.

This is literally my only complaint of the game right now. I even enjoy endgame for the most part where the rest of the community whines about.
