Vaal Temple rewards bugged in co op?

I've been co op playing with a friend and when he opens his instance of the Vaal temple everything works as expected. We cleared the rooms he got his rewards and it was a good time. However when I tried to do the same thing none of the upgrade benches were able to be interacted with by me.

I opened the temple but only he could interact with any of the rewards after we cleared the rooms. Very disappointing that I was bugged out of the entire league mechanic. I could set up the rooms and open the temple door, but when inside it was buggy and even though I could see the upgrade stations on the minimap I could not even see a prompt to press a button or interact in any way. Its especially disheartening since now he has all 6 affix rares and socketed gear and has skills with 3 support slots and I've been stuck with whatever loot I can find on the ground. We are playing campaign together and I'm already significantly behind gearwise.

This was on console we were both playing on xbox series X and he was the party leader in POE2. We are planning on testing me being the party leader next attempt but after the second failed try at getting rewards I'm calling it quits for now.

This needs fixing ASAP.

Except we could not interact with it at all, even party leader.
