I’m a bit miffed. I wanted to create a physical spell-caster hybrid, using the assassin minion as my choice. Alas, it’s not possible.

My plan was to allocate my physical spell nodes on weapon set 1, and then use minion nodes on weapon set 2.

Nope! Doesn’t work. When you’re in weapon set 1, the Djinns don’t charge their cooldowns so they are unusable as a weapon swap, which severely limits the options for this otherwise extremely cool ascendancy.

They also don't scale with anything without a minion tag.

Why, so you can feel smart by circumventing intended mechanics?
