Content.ggpk+Poe2 = 210 GB

I'm playing on a laptop, this is legit 50% of the memory of a 1 year old laptop.

I can barely have 2 other games of 100 GB on my computer at the time.

I have to uninstall POE1 to download this patch.

And yes, I can add an external drive, but I think 210 GB to play a game is abusive.

I know many games are around 100, you're double atm.

My game is like ~115g on my PC.

You might want to check your files and/or wipe and reinstall the game.

115g is still a lot though and I would like to see GGG maybe find a way to shrink some files later on since the game will only get bigger.

Content.ggpk is the patch file that's still packed/encrypted right??? Like for folks who use the stand alone client or just want to download it early an unpack it when the times hits. It should be deleted when you go to actually update the game. You basically have 2 copies of the game stored atm that's why it's so big

You pre downloaded a massive patch that hasn’t been released yet, it can’t overwrite the existing game install or the game would be unplayable until the patch officially launches.

Asking for the game to be smaller than 100GB is one thing. But what you’re asking for - the ability to download a massive patch early such that it can’t be installed, and have it not take up space, is literally asking for magic.

Not quite. Content.ggpk is the archive that contains the game assets. But it already has some stuff from the new release in it, as pattw pointed out. So it should shrink once the new content is released.

90% of that is MTX you'll never see or use.
