Lack of seamless Controller/KBM is hurting my hand.

I have been practicing campaign Ranger before 0.4 and using WASD, half way in ACT2 and my right hand is killing me. The non stop clicking of the right/left mouse button is killing my tendons. I found that the only way I can play for hours without pain is if I move with Spacebar (Left hand thumb) and use QWER for spells. Sadly is way inferior to WASD especially for ranged class. Being able to strafe or kite backwards as ranged is vastly superior.
In Last Epoch and Diablo4 I use controller for fights and KBM to manage inventory, etc. No pain ever. A joy to play.
GGG, why aren't you fixing this? You keep saying you will, and you don't. 1 day before 0.4 and I have to seriously think about what class I could play without WASD. Only controller is a NO GO.
I'm even thinking to just play another game instead. Act2 and I have to stop and take anti-inflammatory pills. How is it possible that inferior games like LE/D4 had this from day 1, yet Poe1 and 2 lack this important feature?

Have you looked into using a program like ReWASD to map mouse movement to keys on the keyboard for your right hand? There are ergonomic split keyboards where you can control a track ball with your right thumb for instance.

I think, in the last interview, they talk about this and they said that it is in the roadmap, 0.5.0 maybe.

Also, the position of your arm and your wrist is very important, I changed my posture several years ago because of elbow pain and I dont have pain anymore.

Thank you for the info. I will check them out right away.

EDIT: I installed my old 2014 Razer Orbweaver and managed to get it working via Synapse2 as keyboard input. Will try it and give my hand a rest. I almost never used this device as I had a hard time getting used to it, but at least it's an option for now.

I can't play this game anymore in this state....

I'm NOT going to bother playing 150 hours and managing the inventory with controller anymore...

Due to a disability in my right arm, I want to play with controller and do my inventory and game management with the mouse and my left arm.
