There's no need. The windows version runs perfectly fine with Proton.

It's probably better to rely on proton for these things. That way the developers can focus on their own games while the work of getting it to run in the many Linux distros is handled by the community. And Poe2 works great in proton. It might appear like it has performance issues, but then it turns out the same issues are in the windows version ... Hopefully 0.4.0 will make this even better.

i've played this on linux mint and right now on bazzite
runs as well as in win10/11... also feels to run better on bazzite than 11 all you need do to is install steam and tinker some settings bazzite is way easier since nvidia drivers and steam are already baked in d:-D*
