FINITE Atlas, Better UNIQUES and QoL - PLEASE??

I would really appreciate if you do less of added content and more of game polish... That will probably bring me back playing.. but not this time, sadly.

FINITE ATLAS
"Infinite" in and of itself feels so bad and meaningless..

Instead of one endlessly sprawling world, you’d have multiple self-contained zones. Each zone could give completion rewards, and as you progress, the rewards could scale. So in essence, it would still be infinite, but in manageable pieces.

A finite Atlas system could solve so many issues and I’m really surprised it’s not talked about more — and it seems incredibly simple to implement. So what will it do:
- it would give the End Game a meaning;
- it would make the entire world far more manageable - No more requests to zoom further out;
- it will be way more fun;
- it would also be more friendly with hardware.

Gosh.. it seems so simple...!!

BETTER UNIQUES
Right now, I think 80% of Uniques I found are simply uninteresting. Or maybe they are somewhat interesting, but they are either very weak (comparing to standard gear), or just found too late in the game. I have zero thrill when I see one dropping...
So - make them a bit more interesting (skill altering uniques), more powerful and scalable with level.

Gosh.. again..!!

QoL
- Bookmarks in Passive Tree,
- Better search system for support gems,
- In-game loot filter,
- Some stash tabs need rework (right now Gem stash bad, Unique stash needs filter by level/cannot see if I can wear or not, etc),
- Teleport directly to your buddy in party,
- Armory,
- Test Dummy,
- Better visuals/UI (visuals for crits, weapon item dps, diverse statistics in party, etc.)
ETC..

Not even mentioning Crafting, Itemization and Balance....

the danger with making uniques scaleable is that it turns into diablo 3 where all slots are uniques and rares will be made useless.

That will also make crafting useless as u wont be using crafted items, nah it wont work.

Not if cost of upgrading is set accordingly.

And.. what`s wrong in having all slots as uniques in the end? Game could still give you something to chase. Maybe some cosmetics, or even MTX currency.

The player retention is a few weeks anyway.. Having uniques which you can upgrade (which should take tome and resources) keeps you more involved I`d say.

Ummm no. Finite Atlas would mean that PoE1 is right, Johnathan can't have that.

The whole point of PoE2 is aimlessly rebel against PoE1 like a hormonal teenager kids rebels against their parents.

And it's just a phase.
