So I just got a 9070 XT
I used DDU to remove all old drivers, and I am playing the game on low everrything now because I am stuck with the crap tier dx11 option But I can't change my render from DX11, and I am dropping frames to 5-7 FPS in maps, while my old 2070 was running 75 fps(monitor hz) all day every day I did one map, it is a slideshow.I am still in it now because I don't want to lose the map so I am taking ~5 minutes to do A ROOOM of the map. I must have messed something up somewhere, I just want to run the game, how do I make the game not a slideshow? Last bumped on Dec 9, 2025, 2:38:49 AM

So far everything else I have ran is fine. To be safe I am reinstalling POE, and I am going to check some of the more jank games I run like GTA and Cyberpunk
Most of my other games are mid tier req's at most and run PHENOMENALLY better, but I guess it might be a weird outlier? |

5600x Ryzen 32 GB ram from QVL running at 3200 9070xt 800w Gold Corsair PSU I just....this should run circles around POE and I am struggling to get more than 30fps in map fights |

What the actual heck
First I tried uninstall/reinstall of POE. No love I removed the GPU drivers with DDU again. Reinstall. Still BAAAAAD performance So I looked at the driver. Figured out the option to install DRIVER ONLY Used DDU again, removed everything. Then did driver only install, no adrenaline, no extras at all Now everything is fixed TL;DR Don't let adrenaline install with your AMD GPU |
