I can't BELIEVE there are going to be no changes to the Revives in maps

I think they're just shooting themselves in the foot here. Such an easy win and it's not changing for 4. fucking. months.
Edit: Tbh I'm probably an HC player post-launch but even I can see that this is bad for softcore. Know what's better than this concept? Clear the player's inventory on death like in Heist. I was more okay with that. That is how bad this system is. Last edited by Immoteph#2974 on Dec 8, 2025, 11:38:15 AM Last bumped on Dec 8, 2025, 6:27:38 PM

The issue is not everyone is a HC player... Not everyone want to be hard punish for mistake.
POE2 Is more user friendly than poe1 was or at least feel like it trying to be. Difficulty should be adjusted to be fun and challenging but not unfair for the casual player... Or it would need to be... oh wait, you have HC mode for that. Problem solve. |

" This. Feels really bad in softcore. You don't lose your character, but all the hours of juicing are gone with map clearing and of course XP. |

Johnatan clearly stated in today's interview with Tri - XP loss stays. 6mods map 1 entry stays.
They want it like that, because it forces more defensive approach and not just glass cannon forward pushing with attitude of "if i die, i die and just start next one". I 100% agree with GGG on this one. |

" I saw that too. I loved it. He was also right that there's a player expectation problem because other games are so easy. People are arriving at PoE2 expecting to get to level 100, or to be able to do all content, as things that always happen for every character. So there's a culture shock when people run into the fact that high-end content is competitive, not easy. Evasion-only melee character that can kill Ubers with cheap gear (SSF Rise of the Abyssal), no armor, no energy shield, 62k eHP:

Don't disagree with Jonathan but... both one and 2 contain some really stupid shit amd really poor visibility with a lot of skills and no free way to even slightly make that better.
