Is it possible to reach level 100 with 40% less monsters?

Even in its current state, approaching level 100 is practically impossible, and doing so with 40% fewer monsters seems impossible. What do you think will happen? They didn't address the issue of EXP, and did they buff EXP gain by more than 40%?

leveling to 100 is supposed to be practically impossible task. this is a clearly intended mechanics.

only the best, the most elite, the most worthy, the most no-lifer, the most determined, the most dedicated, the most knowledgeable players should be able to reach level 100.

if a player is not up to standard and not good enough and not worthy, then the player does not deserve to reach level 100.

It's ridiculous. It's a mechanic designed to manipulate the meta. You can't even T15 by building your way through the meta and avoiding the endgame. In addition to a lot of slam, dot, and chaos damage, 40% fewer monsters will feel like a grind. The player count will drop to 50,000 before the league even reaches its second week.
they dont want people to level to 100. they do everything in their power to stop them. first they made overtuned map bosses mandatory and now reduced monster density in maps. forget level 100. most people will be lucky to reach 95 at this point

They are scaling XP & loot rewards to compensate for the lower density. For all we know, we might level faster now. The purpose of changing density is to adjust the way the game-play feels, not to lower the rewards.
I ht 98 this league, and to be honest, ill never, ever try to do +2 leves, it is boring.

Xp rate is too low, and i have no will to play in groups. i love my all way solo player.

Yes, they touched on the drop part. But I didn't see any article or explanation about EXP. Also, since we can't even get delirium on maps, even reaching level 95 seems a bit difficult right now.

0.4 Patch Notes:
Maps no longer scale pack size as you increase in tier, they instead increase non-unique monster Effectiveness. Effectiveness grants monsters increased life, increased experience granted and increased quantity of items dropped. Tablets now have a maximum of 4 modifiers. To unlock the ability to craft a tablet beyond 2 modifiers you need to have defeated the Arbiter of Ash.

To compensate for delirium and abyss crafting on maps, they raised juice on tablets.

Yeah agreed with what someone said about moving the juice to tablets.....

Hard to actually say what the impact is numerically just yet, but id guess they tried to sorta make it balance out especially 4 mod tablets and you can have 3 of those. We'll see though, very interesting topic.

And also how the new changes to waystone prep factor into 100 grinds as well, previously youd either have to buy pre-crafted waystones and tablets or spend entire sessions map prepping for proper xp maps. Those will go a long way too, but hard to quantify until were in-game.
