Upcoming rare icons/checkpoint suggestion

My biggest frustration with rares / checkpoints was when I missed them narrowly, like half a screen away in the fog of war on the less linear maps.

My suggestion / request would be a visual indicator when you are close to a rare / checkpoint hidden in the fog of war.

I feel like with the upcoming change that all checkpoints reveal the map, getting all the checkpoints becomes more important.
There is still some maps where the checkpoints are quite far apart and missing them causes significant frustration and bracktracking.
