Hasty Demise passive node and Righteous Fire

I posted this in the correct section but it didn't get any traction so I'll post it here and delete once I get an answer.

Does anyone know if the Hasty Demise atlas node that gives 30% increased damage over time with spell skills would work with Righteous Fire?

I know righteous fire is weird when it comes to spell tags so some clarification from more experienced RF users would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time using the skill and idk if it's a mistake to grab it.
