Gain a charge every X seconds

I have 20% increased frenzy charge duration from the tree, that should be 12s.
I have the mod on my chest that says Gain a a Frenzy Charge every 12 seconds. I would expect this to be able to sustain charges, but it doesn't, it gets to 2 then back to 1 again. However, if I add any minimum frenzy charges (for example from Disciple of the Slaughter) then it works fine. " Server tick rate stuff iirc where if 2 conditions happen at the same time they don't happen in sequence so they can happen out of order. Running out of duration and gaining a new charge to refresh are currently happening in the same tick. Has worked that way since eldritch implicits added the charge generation option. You want duration to be at least 0.1 second (it's less, but easier to explain that way) higher than generation for consistency. If too expensive to change generation to 11 seconds, the easiest fix a lot of people go for is to get the more duration charge mastery. Or grab extra frenzy duration on the right side of the tree (and get a bit of evasion and +1 frenzy charge in the process). |
