Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - Please bring the mercenaries back to standard - Forum

I play alone, I don't have friends to play with me; Mercenary was my company. Another reason, without mercenaries, who am I going to use link gems and link items with??? You can expect however they are introduced, they are going to come at a massive price/nerf in order to not create an insane power creep. I personally think they will either add them only for the defeating/picking loot aspect, merge them with the Animate Guardian in some way, or have an entire Ascendency focused around the Mercenary.
