Make Spear Great Again

From poe.ninja, only 2% charactors use "Lightning Spear" as their main skill
It means only 2% players are using Spear.

GGG should do something to change this situation.

I did a Ritualist Rake / Blood Hunt build this league. Didn't have a lot of hope for a DoT build given my x2 attempts with Infernalist but it worked very well but they'll probably nerf Herald of Blood.

Kinda goes to show when damage is too high you have to pop DoTs for them to be any value. In proper design DoTs do the most damage but PoE is anything but proper design.

Spear was 5% used, same as Quarterstaff. Unarmed at 7% and Crossbow at 10%. Almost the entire rest of the pie (~70%) is Bow and a variation of Wand + Focus/Scepter, etc.
