Combos: maintain charges

I’ve been thinking about the combo gameplay. While I like the idea I stepped away from it pretty much the moment I found something that worked without combos because they feel good to do regularly but not to do continuously.
Perhaps it’s worth looking into making the final combo moves slightly less OP but to let us do them as the spam ability once you’ve worked your way up there. Eg kill someone with Killing Palm and then your can do empowered Thunder Strike 10 times instead of just once. I’m aware this would reduce the theorycrafting for the element of maintaining charges, but I’m sure there’ll be enough theorycrafting left.
