Minions and Souls

Hello, so first of all, I'll say that I recently started playing a minion-based build (without any offensive skills). So, I'm a support and the minions kill. Unfortunately, I want to say that I'm deeply disappointed that I can't control the minions' actions in any way. When they see an enemy, they all rush towards it to kill it, leaving me behind. If any mobs spawn behind me during that time, I'm dead.

Just one small tweak would be enough to make a minion-based build playable. Specifically, simply add a specific mob group's stance. Three options: "Aggressive (attack all targets without a command)," "Defensive (attack targets in response to an attack on the player or self and stay in player radius)," and "Passive (attack only on command and follow a player)." (ofcorse you set it in minion panel for all grup minions). And for attack on command, so that all groups do not fight for 1 mob, you put the group as a skill into the quick reaction buttons 1,2,3 etc.

You can actually control them.

There is a button to move them by force, and they can be controlled with skill like flame wall.

But really all skills will work. Even a shield being raises will send them towards your cursor position.

Now, if your main goal is afk simulator, you are kind of in the wrong game.

I understand you POV but I also think having more "intelligence" and auto-manageability with the minion AI does not make this game an AFK simulator and neither was the OP's goal.

I would say it only improves the gameplay, since minions are so dummy sometimes.

And yeah, there is a binding for controlling minion position but it does not replace the OP's suggestion, in fact it adds to it in a good way.

For it to work, the devs have to consider not only keyboard, but controller mapping as well. And maybe if the controllers get the extra palm buttons it becomes more feasible.. Even though adding more buttons can be detrimental to new players engagement.

I know that you control them all, i have 5 type minions, in total can summon around 20 (dependent what set up) and i dont want that all of them run toward 1 enemy. Its total oposite what you think, i dont want afk auto simulator, i just want control them manual and apoints roles for them. Its a minions build and all sense of that build is a controle minions :) (and anyway its not a game where mobs are respavned after time, its no sense to make automats here). At this point playing minions build look that: make alot minions and run, they are slow and chaotic, the build is boring, mor manual controll will give a litle live on it. But its only sugestion from my sid.

Each minion type has a stat panel where you can set it to aggressive by default. I just want it to be able to randomly change it to passive or defensive (for all minions of the same type). I'm not talking about creating groups, etc., I'm talking about adding options in the panel for each minion type (archer minion - defensive, frost mage minion - passive, destroyer minion - aggressive, etc.). I want it to be simple but useful. You also have a few minion abilities you can use from quick buttons (gas arrow, etc., so adding an attack ability for each minion type it not make game dificult).

eh, you scare about automat build and fact is that Minion build is stronger only from bowman.

and dificulty of this server that drop compared to first one, that you need do on maps is run to boos room and go afk or for coffie, when you back boss will be death, you dont need automat
