Is Memory Strand gears expensive?

I was wondering if I should keep these weapons/armours as I have been selling them to NPCs.

Are they worth trading?

Not really, afaik. You can use an Orb of Remembrance on an item if you want a Memory Strand on it, it costs ~ 40–50c, so not that much.
I checked a few items like Twilight Regalia, and they were only worth 3–5 c.
There might be some t1 bases that are worth a bit. If you want to check for yourself, you can search for Memory Strand in the trade window.

in 3.26, decent bases with memory strands were worth keeping. I made over 100d extra just picking em up and hitting em with a couple essence and selling (chaos res essence on boots/gloves/helms, crit multi essence on rings and quivers).

This league, with how good the genesis tree is at printing good rares, I havent bothered.

I would probably still pick up an amethyst ring w/ 50+ strands, but thats about it.

Orb of remembrance crafting and native memory strand bases are vastly different in terms of budget. Orbs are used almost exclusively on over quality bases for high end crafting.

Native memory strand drops are used for mid-level crafts. Hit it with an essence until you get 4 solid affixes or it turns to garbage. If it goes well, bench craft a blocker, exalt slam, polish with eldritch, sell.
