Bound by destiny Damage Taken As chaos not converting all damage?

So im experimenting with 100% mom and Divine Flesh stuff
I have:
Mom allocated(40%),Hiero ascendancy(10%), Watchers with 10% while affected by clarity, Aylardex with 10power charges for another 10%, then foulborn Mind of the council for last 30% phys and lightning to mana, so 100% for lightning and phys to mana,
physical to mana is working fine and no problems

then im converting all elemental to chaos or lightning:
50% to chaos with Divine Flesh
40% fire and cold to lightning using Font of thunder
and last 10% to chaos using bound by destiny and 4 hunter items:
hunter rare belt
hunter rare gloves
hunter rare body armour
hunter+shaper wand - unique void battery

or alternate:
hunter rare wand
hunter unique body armour - incandescent heart

and there is some issues with bound by destiny conversion:
im still getting one shotted by elemental damage,
but for example if i additionally equip incandescent heart or watchers with convert to lightning while affected by purity of lightning - all become fine

also there is another funny effect i found:
if equip incandescent heart and rare hunter wand and will run near monster who have righteous fire aura(like wicker man in A10 Canals) - my 1hp starts to slowly drain at rate around 0.2 per second

not sure why this works only with rare wand - maybe hunter+shaper wand doesnt work with Bound by destiny? but then why its not insta kill me?

if i equip rare hunter body instead of incandescent heart
and keep hunter rare wand - it is not drain hp but still oneshots me

This is a known old issue with how rounding works for those,

at above 100 base incoming damage just getting to 101% taken as fixes the rounding issues, and is know for things like not wanting to be bled/ignited you need to get 101% taken as for their respective types

But you can still theoretically die if something has low enough base damage

Maybe GGG will fix at some point but its been like 8 years

Someone tested it on another thread with 1 more power charge, and it's most likely an issue with Foulborn helm since it's the only new variable. Specific mobs/damage bypasses mana even with 101% taken from mana.
Sorry was not clear enough, elemental damage taken as,

If you are hit by a hit of say 1003 fire damage, with 40% taken as lightning and 60% taken as chaos you will take 601 chaos, 401 lightning, and 1 fire damage.

Which will kill you from the 1 fire damage.

With 101% taken as ( eg 50% taken as chaos, 51% taken as lightning )

You will take 501 chaos, 511 lightning, and 0 fire damage, so yes it makes you take 9 lightning damage extra ( around 1% more damage ) but the overcap fixes the rounding issues.

This fixes the issue.

This does not work with overcapping MoM becouse that correctly makes you take 100% of the correct damage types already.

This has been an issue for ages, people have known about it for atleast 8 years due to needing 101% phys taken as for gluttony of elements and before you stop bleeding ( as even 1 leftover phys damage can make you bleed ), also you need 101% fire taken as to not be ignited.

The rounding is only an issue if its multiple different damage types you are taken the damage as, if its all one type (eg 100% taken as fire) then it works fine with no rounding issues.
Ah, thanks for the clarification. Then the people testing were just randomly dying to the specific elemental rounding, but fine when the damage wasn't rounding? Good to know.

Oh you right,i even read about this couple year ago, but totally forgot and wiki doesnt have this info.I think it would resolved if ggg rounded down instead up, but they like to punish us, and in current situation it seems not possible to correctly convert with Divine Flesh,Font of thunder and bound by destiny as there is nowhere to get extra % from that setup, and not introducing extra item like watchers or incandescent heart

But still - remaining question - about rare wand vs double influence unique wand
