guard skill and graft guard skill they are sharing the same cooldown.

heart of flame are sharing cooldown with guards skill from character, If skills used by the grafts aren't considered to be used by players, why are they experiencing cooldown issues? I was trying to use the Automation skill with a guard skill, but it doesn't activate skills if a guard skill is on cooldown. Even though my character's guard skill is not on cooldown, Automation doesn't activate because Heart of Flame is on cooldown.I don't know if this is intentional so that the player can't use this mechanic , or if it's a bug.

Heart of Flame is guard tagged so it's not surprising it puts player guard skill on cooldown as well since it protects the player. Otherwise, why even be guard tagged?
My last character would have gladly used Heart of Flame, Preserving Stillness, Elemental Aegis, and Steelskin with block cap and 20k+ evasion to have up to 3x their HP in shields up. |

Test it before you speak. I can use guard skills while Heart of Flame is on cooldown, but Automation can't. No need for irony or exaggeration. It's just a question.

" I did use it, which is why I responded. I was using the combination until I realized the automation only worked the 11 seconds Heart was down (unless broken early) and not worth the sockets as a result. And it follows the same logic with or without automation. If you are affected by a guard skill, player guard skills are locked and the skills are unlocked once the guard skill is off. As soon as Heart is off, it's a 1 second timer and then automation guard skill will auto-trigger until Heart of Flame condition is met to activate. But if you are affected by automated guard skill, Heart of Flame cannot apply, so it's better (for me) not to run any automated guard skill for 2 sockets back and better uptime for Heart. But there's nothing stopping you from running both and having a guard skill auto-triggering when not affected by Heart. |
