Tempest Shield + Stormshroud = Still getting frozen?

I am using Tempest Shield and have Stormshroud. Tempest shield gives immunity to being shocked. Despite Stormshroud offers this effect to all elemental aliments, I am still getting frozen.
Is this a bug or do I ACTUALLY need to get "100% chance" to avoid being shocked, and this is for some mystical reason not equal to "immune" to shock? Last bumped on Nov 22, 2025, 5:46:25 PM

Working as intended. Avoidance and immunity are two different stats. Stormshroud specifically requires shock avoidance.

You need to increase the chance to avoid being shocked not granting immunity to shock. |

Essence of Torment, eldritch implicits on boots and abyss jewels are common options.
