RoTC as Tornado Shot bow?

Hi,

I haven't played a bow build for almost 10 years so I need your advice. Last time I played a bow build it was a LA / Barrage build that was able to melt everything in split seconds but that was a loooooong time ago and things have changed a lot.

When I look at my old RoTC bow it has horrible DPS compared to a modern high end bow. That's bad because TS (Omni-variant) scales primarily with physical DPS but it scales also a lot with additional arrows and my old RoTC has +4. So I wonder if this old bow would be still somewhat decent for a TS build?

My guess would be it would work pretty well, but not up to the level a rare bow is capable of. I'm not a TS player though. Getting a couple of extra projectiles would probably be fairly easy compared with getting double the base damage. Not sure if reduced proj speed is good for TS or not. It might mean you can't use that bow mastery, not sure how much it effects the game play with the tornados.

Meanwhile I tested it and oh boy is that bow horrible for TS. ^^
