Mana Siphoner deals damage before being visible.

So I tried playing with Doryani's Prototype for the first time this league, since I thought I would simply be able to just avoid the dangerous blue circles.

I was not. It has no counter-play with -200% Lightning res, since it begins to deal its damage way before being visible. So any mechanic with randomly spawning mobs is a dice-roll on living through it.

The solutions are simple:

1: Make its effect render instantly instead of fading up
2: Make its damage delayed, or let it ramp over time.

Please look into this, 99% of deaths this league has been due to this. And all the deaths always feel undeserved.

Btw. please also look into the livewire debuff. Also pretty deadly, without any possible counter-play when using the chest. Except of course pausing and logging out, but thats lame.

This is the same situation with Invulnerability Aura.

Example:

Beyond monster spawns, you're surrounded, all of a sudden your leech is disabled and you died, but here comes the cue for Invulnerability Aura to let you know exactly what killed you, but definitely after you're dead and already going to click to respawn.

It should activate on cue, not the moment the monster spawns in.

They'll never fix this though. They don't care.

This problem or bug exists since that damn modifier was introduced. Characters with Doryani's prototype suffer most from it.

I understand that Doryani's prototype needs some downside or weakness, but that you die before the ring is even visible is absolutely dumb and unfair. At the earliest, the ring should deal damage when visible. Any earlier makes no sense and can't be right.

I doubt this will ever be fixed. Not enough players complaining and also not enough players using Doryani's prototype.
