Party ailments threshold scaling.

The wiki states:

However, one of my friends is convinced that it is harder to freeze mobs when in a party, despite what the wiki says.

I'm planning on playing an Ice Strike Monk, and before I commit to all the ailment/elemental nodes, I'd like to know whether it's actually better to invest elsewhere (Daze/Blind/etc.).

I don't want to plan my build around something that might be incorrect, so I'd appreciate any feedback or clarification on this.

You can commit to freezing, it will work the same.
I have a feeling that game is generally harder in party. Boss' life scales very high so its easier for me to go solo for boss and my friend join boss fight in the last moment.
