How many people here play solo in standard? Thinking of going hardcore with Scion build.

Curious how many people here play solo in standard, and is hardcore slower, but safer in solo? I'm not looking for glory or speed clearing. I haven't player a scion in awhile, so would prefer that, if it is viable. My only goal is to make it to level 70, not even concerned with getting to maps.
