Brutal Charge dilemma

Today at PoE University: How more damage leads to less damage.

I bought a cheap “supported by” weapon to create a 9 Link Smite.
Damage went up from 13 to 18,5M but the problem now is that I one-shot the mobs, so I can't generate Brutal Charges with “Endurance Charge on Stun” as i did before.
Most bosses, on the other hand, are immune to stun.
This means that while my base damage is significantly higher, I have zero boost for bosses.

So I tried to generate Endurance Charge using Enduring Cry, which is not only very unpleasant to play, but also means that I can't generate more than on everage 5 Brutal Charges due to the power level of the monsters, even though my maximum is 9-10.

How can i solve this dilemma?

Old Set up with 10 Brutal Charges: https://maxroll.gg/poe/pob/5sfey0yk
New Set up with 0 Brutal Charges:https://maxroll.gg/poe/pob/m6gk30ar

Enduring composure passive is probably the easiest but then it will take a full 10 seconds to generate full charges.

Could also combine it with enduring cry so you get 5 off the bat and then getting hit will get most of the charges to you over the next 4 seconds.
Thats not sexy. Too far away and not annoint worthy.
But thank you for your reply.

How much of a problem is this really? If you one shotting everything in the map, how much longer is the boss taking? Most map bosses are not that strong, and if they are the charges would be dropping off anyway unless your warcrying on the boss wouldn't they?

Lethal pride can roll 5% on kill mods. Most anything is going to be detrimental to your build by switching something up I think. Ring mods, jewels, anoint/pathing on tree, swap to warlord mark. I don't know there is any good option. Perhaps there is some skill tech you can use, but I don't think it is as easy as with the other charges. Perhaps something I've missed.

T16 Bosses are obv easy peasy but T17 is harsh.
Delerium with Scarabs f.e. is a nightmare.
So the Brutal Charges are a huge Buff.
Also tested it on Searing Exarch with Body Implicit Gain Endurance every 14 sec.

Its also safer to kill faster in T17 bc Squire itself comes with a few downsides like Chaos res problems, less life, etc. (didnt tried T17 yet though)

What about linking endurance charge on stun to your leap slam? Maybe it can generate charges by stun but with not one-shot mobs along the way.

Dont think thats viable.
1. i need to jump into danger
2. cant smite at the same time
3. see 1.

I think i might just switch back.
Damage was already good and it was tankier with the other shield.

Cant really see this a T7 farmer anyway without an insane Kalandra Touch worthy Frenzy Ring.

Enduring composure is a small cluster jewel passive. You cant anoint it fyi. It would cost you one of you your jewel slots in a cluster and two passive points.
Right. Thx for clarification.
Still not araused.
