Essence not dropping with Asenath's Gentle Touch sometimes

Having an issue with Essences not dropping after killing the monster when wearing Asenath's Gentle Touch on certain maps (Wasteland just now for instance.) I am hoping this isn't affecting other drops as well

I'm gonna bump this to say it also affects gold drops for sure so I assume everything is affected. Playing on my Asenath's void sphere of rending poison assassin nets me about half the gold of my other characters with the same map conditions
