if you have 90%(300%) the resistance , you can give Summoned creature 45% resistance or 150% resistance .

In your example minions will gain 45% resistances.

Resistances in parentheses are called uncapped resistances, so it would be specified if it worked the other way: "Minions gain added Resistances equal to 50% of your Uncapped Resistances".
