Where do jewels work with the new deli ascendancy

If i have a forbidden flame/flesh combo with the new ascend that didn't happen from delirium do they work if i slot them in a jewel socket from a large cluster jewel?

Far as I remember GGG said before release: No, dont work. I think it was in the FAQ which was posted here in the forum under Announcements.

(Edit: irrelevant to post as FAQ says the ascendancy does count the jewels socketed in the cluster.)

I'm using ascendancy jewels in cluster currently and it appears to be working, both in game and on POB numbers. I can see, because I'm using born in the shadows, and am getting nearby blinds.

I was concerned about this as well, as I think I've encountered certain jewels not working with cluster jewels. I think timeless jewels work in the starting tree cluster jewel socket, but not the cluster jewel sockets themselves. Unsure of what restrictions might exist, or changes there have been, but it is working for me with the forbidden jewels currently.

(Edit: Zrevnur is correct, there is a FAQ question in the thread saying the cluster jewel sockets count as being part of the tree in this context. Linked below.)

So the jewel sockets on cluster count as part of tree and won't work? Originally when reading it I thought player would be able to use the sockets in the cluster jewels, but reading it from the wiki it doesn't sound like the would work.

I don't remember reading that part about non passage jewels either, must of read it wrong or from an incomplete source.

This was the only bloodline ascendancy I was considering on my build, but I think not being able to use jewels at all is a pretty big downside, since you can get another ascendancy via forbidden jewels.

Seems like it would mainly be good for tanking large boss mechanics, but not that helpful against sustained damage.

It says, "Non-cluster jewels socketed in your passive tree have no effect", without mentioning passage jewels. I think you are correct that it probably extends to any type of non cluster jewel (other than passage), but my initial interpretation was that it would prevent jewels that were on the tree and not in the cluster.
