Wintertide brand?

So I've never played this skill before and decided to leaguestart with it. Looked at a few different builds and is there any reason no one specs into Divine Judgment? Does it not scale off the flat ele damage or something? I've got points in it for now but would those be better spent going for a DoT node?

It's generally fine, but for min/maxing the cluster may not be cost-efficient since you likely spend some points just to reach it. And you usually want to path to groups of useful clusters, not just one.

Wintertide Brand doesn't scale off flat damage because it doesn't hit, but that's not what Divine Judgement provides. It increases elemental damage (including Wintertide's).

That's what PoB is for.

Divine Judgement can be worth it if u're using a cold damage Light of Meaning jewel in the socket right next to the node.

Otherwise, the small nodes leading up to Divine Judgement are pretty bad, which is probably the reason most people don't use it.
Also it depends on what alternatives u could spend the points on.

Either way, just import ur character to PoB to see if it's worth it for ur build.

So biggest problem is I can't use PoB because all I've got is a shitty chromebook that wouldn't run it when I tried.

I was just curious because a lot of builds I looked at were armor/es and were right there in that part of the tree anyway

Figure you might want to have a look at my league start, i haven't looked at any other builds/guides, though it's not armor based etc so you might find it interesting. As a side note, PoB numbers arn't correct, it's melting everything and is very tanky so far, not to mention cheap (haven't checked prices in awhile since my gears mostly ssf).

E: Also my gear isn't complete xD The build has a lot higher ceiling, can do 16s fine. Replica allels will carry you for a long time.

Well here's a link to my last Wintertide build in Settlers that I killed all ubers with. A very smooth experience and pretty good for mapping aswell. Juiced deli T16 was easy, T17 were pretty rough tho because of the nature of delayed damage and mobs with way too much damage :P

Keep in mind tho that I already had most of the gear when I started the character, so it's built with MB from the get go.
