Faustus not in hideout

yo guys need help: I played hc and had faustus in my hideout but i died so some stuff reseted, aswell as him being in my hideout
now i cant get him in my hideout, i tried talking to him in act 6, kingsmarch or the epilogue but it still says i need to "encounter him" to get him in my hideout

fixed but idk how to remove the thread so

If anyone in the future sees this I had this issue and fixed it by migrating my ssf league.
