Weapon Swap from (II) to (I) - first swap after changing zones does nothing

When you enter a new zone with the weapon set (II) selected and press X, nothing happens, not even the sound. You have to press it twice.

If you would observe the inventory window, you'd see your weapons in slot (II), but (I) is highlighted. Upon pressing X, (II) will be highlighted, but no sound is played and the weapon sets don't swap. Only on the second press of X do the sets swap and (I) is highlighted. After that the swapping works until you change zones.

This doesn't happen when entering the zone with weapons set (I) selected.

Until it's fixed, I suggest taking care which is really your preferred set of weapons and making it (I).

Can confirm that I notice the same issue when I am using Weapon Set II, with or without a weapon in set I. It does not occur when Weapon Set I is pre-selected instead.

As mentioned in the OP, the UI highlights set I in yellow as being active when in fact set II is active. The first weapon swap, either pressing "X" or by clicking on the weapon set numbers does nothing but correct the highlight to show set II without swapping weapon sets. This does not occur when entering the zone with set I active.


This appears to be related to a bug that was reported several times in March 2018, including this report that was acknowledged by GGG. Those reports are now all archived and I have not looked up if any patch was applied at the time.

I would like full autonomy of my character, and this causes unexpected behavior. Should we really need to remember if we've zoned into a new area, before trusting our weapon swap will complete successfully?
