When do build guides generally come out?

I'm excited to play the new league but I want to play it safe again and follow a build guide before I dive in. When do build guides generally come out for new leagues?

Whenever someone bothers to post one. Check the builds subforums, plus Youtube etc.

I was intending a different league starter then I have but it's working out very well. It's a good mechanic and the Genesis Tree is very cool. Great job Mark and crew. |

I think even "patch adjacent" guide will be probably pretty okay, so I would guess to get the Path of Building, get the build for skill you like going and then when having issues... You will need to figure it out, using YouTube, Poe Ninja site and so on.
For the most of the part most of builds have some sort of like "Core skill tree" that doesn't exactly change that much (Unless you take like ANCIENT build) and then you have to do some tinkering with more mechanics like Tattoos, Cluster Jewels, Jewels and so on, but at that point of playing you should have some idea. I was hyped for Eclipse Solaris light radius wander and I didn't do the math beforehand and it turned out being...just ok. I didn't see enough reduced debuff duration to do the Beacon of Madness build exactly as I wanted either (it would still work, just not as good as I had hoped.) Wander in general was exactly what I expected. Really good mapping and zdps bossing. Kinetic Rain of Impact was just ok in ballistas. Unless there's some interaction with really high AoE it's whatever.
Waiting patiently for something new and fun to appear in front of me and looking at the foulborn mods. The sword from uber incarnation of dread looks really cool. 45 second shrine buff with Gull whenever you kill a rare or unique. |
